By the 1950s, Glasbake had become a household name for reliable, durable bowls youâd proudly display on open shelving.
Meanwhile, Sunbeam was revolutionizing homemaking. Founded in 1897, Sunbeam introduced the Mixmaster in 1930, putting powerful electric mixing within every home cookâs reach. Their gleaming mixersâand the accessories that went with themâbecame icons of mid-century American kitchens.
