This matching pair of heavy, restaurant-grade A&W glass mugs brings classic drive-in vibes straight to your kitchen or bar cart.
They’re the stout, faceted style with chunky handles and the Canadian bilingual oval logo on both sides—“A&W Since 1956 / Depuis 1956.”
Pressed, thick-walled glass means they chill beautifully and keep floats extra frosty.

Very good vintage condition: bright logos, no cracks or chips; light shelf scuffs from honest use (see photos). Sturdy, clean, and ready for daily duty or display.
📜 A&W began in 1919 when Roy W. Allen served his first root beers in Lodi, California; he later teamed with Frank Wright, hence A&W. The brand became a North-American icon of frosty mugs and drive-ins.
A&W Canada launched later, in 1956, and today operates independently from the U.S. chain, hence the “Since 1956 / Depuis 1956” Canadian branding you see on these mugs.
Our mugs were made between 1982 and 2000.
They are heavy glass mugs, and you’ll find the Libbey mark on the bases.
Use them for classic root beer floats, sodas, shakes, iced coffee—or pop a tea light inside for instant diner-glow on a shelf.
