📜 Gnali & Zani was founded in 1965 in Lumezzane, Brescia, Italy, and quickly became known for combining modern production with the traditions of northern Italian metalworking. Their kitchenware reflects the Italian love of good design: simple lines, robust materials and user‑friendly engineering. The Moka pot itself—originally invented by Alfonso Bialetti and popularised in 1933—uses steam pressure to force hot water through ground coffee, producing a rich brew with crema. Early designs, like this one, were made from aluminium with heat‑resistant bakelite or nylon handles, making them lighter than stainless steel versions and perfect for daily use.
