🤎 What is Gold‑Bond plating?
Traditional gold‑plated jewelry uses a very thin layer of gold over a base metal.
In contrast, gold‑bonded jewelry applies a thicker layer of gold over a base – often sterling silver or brass – which improves durability and gives a richer appearance. The thicker layer greatly increases the jewel's durability and lifetime wearability. That means you get the look and feel of high‑karat gold without the price tag (Karis uses at least 10k Gold).
About this ring
🤎 The central smoky‑brown topaz is cut in an elongated oval and held securely by four prongs. Its warm chocolate hue sparkles against the gold setting and complements everything from autumnal tones to little black dresses.
🤎 An intricate filigree of scrollwork, open lattice and milgrain accents surrounds the stone and continues down the shoulders of the band. This airy pattern allows light to pass under the stone, enhancing its brilliance.
