This hand-blown art glass “purse” vase brings playfulness and light to any room—shaped like a handbag with clear applied handles and a juicy lime-green body.

It still wears its original Design Society sticker, a label seen on late-20th-century giftware purse vases that were retailed through decor shops and department stores and are often described as “Murano style.”

📜 Handbag-shaped glass vases hit a fun, novelty wave in the 1980s–2000s—sold by import/giftware lines such as Design Society and sometimes by Block and other distributors; shapes were produced by various workshops, then sticker-branded for retail.

Use it as a bright bud vase, a cachepot for a small succulent, filled with dried stems, fairy lights on a sideboard, as a whimsical desk caddy for makeup brushes or pens, and much more!
