Vintage Teacher’s Scotch Whisky Jug by Wade PDM (England)
🖤 A sleek, glossy black pub jug with gold lettering—made for TEACHER’S Scotch Whisky and emblazoned with the classic line “in a class of its own.”

✔️ Condition
Very good vintage condition—no chips, cracks, or crazing. Light wear to the gold trim at the rim and minor surface marks from age/use; the glaze shines beautifully. Please see photos—this jug displays superbly.
📜 Who made it (WADE PDM, England)
Wade is a storied Staffordshire maker whose roots go back to the 19th-century Wade family firms led by Major George Wade. In 1969 the group created Wade (PDM) Ltd specifically to design and market advertising wares for breweries and distilleries; since 1989 it has operated within Wade Ceramics Ltd. These bar jugs—often called pub jugs or water pitchers—were supplied to pubs for adding water to whisky and for brand promotion.
Because it bears the Wade PDM ENGLAND backstamp—this model is dated to the 1970s–1980s.
