🧡 A beautiful Indian wooden keepsake box with a warm natural brown finish and a bold white geometric pattern carved across the lid.
The repeating diamonds and small triangles give it a wonderfully graphic look, while the slightly irregular carving and white finish keep the piece feeling rustic rather than overly polished.
💚 The box still has its original “Made in India / Fabriqué en Inde” label on the bottom.
The wood is probably mango wood.
The lid opens on two dark metal hinges to reveal one roomy, unlined interior compartment.

✔️ Condition
Excellent condition. There are some original manufacturing and finishing irregularities, including visible glue in some interior corners and areas where the carving and white finish are not perfectly even.
These details contribute to the rustic character of the box and can be seen in the photos. Please check all photos carefully for condition and details.
The hinges open and close properly, and the original Made in India label remains attached to the bottom.
Carved wooden decorative boxes are a well-established Indian handicraft and export product. Mango wood is particularly common in this type of home décor because it has an attractive visible grain and works well for carved and painted finishes.
