Vintage 1960 Pyrex Holiday Casserole 024 | Red Orange Pinecone 2 Qt Bowl | Mid Century Ovenware
$21.69
🧡 Bring a little mid-century charm to your kitchen with this original 1960 Pyrex Holiday Casserole, featuring a beautiful white pinecone and evergreen branch design against a warm reddish-orange background.
Made in the USA by Corning Glass Works, this vintage 2-quart casserole is part of Pyrex's special promotional collection. Its charming woodland pattern brings a nostalgic touch to holiday gatherings, winter tablescapes, and retro kitchen displays, but it's equally lovely throughout the year.
The bowl has a glossy milk-white interior, a rounded shape, and two gently extended rim handles. Its reddish-orange exterior has developed an uneven, timeworn appearance, with variations in colour and surface wear that give this piece plenty of vintage character.
This is the original Pyrex 024 Holiday Casserole bowl, offered without its original glass lid or metal cradle. A lovely addition to a Pyrex collection or a nostalgic kitchen display.

📜 history
Introduced in 1960, the Pyrex Holiday Casserole was a special promotional design created by Corning Glass Works for its popular ovenware range.
The official pattern features white pine needles spreading from small pinecones against a red background, creating a distinctive seasonal design.
Unlike standard production patterns, promotional Pyrex pieces were often released for limited periods and packaged as gift sets.
Today, collectors of vintage Pyrex, mid-century American kitchenware, and nostalgic holiday decorations appreciate these promotional designs.
The underside is embossed with the Pyrex trademark, model 024, 2 QT, Made in U.S.A., and Ovenware markings.
