This sweet 1-quart casserole features a charming arrangement of stylized daisies, delicate leafy branches, and tiny botanical sprigs. The pattern is commonly known as Green Daisy or Primrose Dream, a wonderful example of the cheerful floral kitchenware popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
Made during the Jeannette Glass Company era, this Glasbake casserole has an oval shape, gently flared rim, and small integrated handles. Its underside features the original embossed Glasbake mark, USA identification, and model number J235.
Perfect for collectors of vintage kitchenware, mid-century glass, and retro floral designs! Although originally intended as oven-to-table cookware, this piece would also make a lovely serving dish for dry foods, a decorative bowl, or a nostalgic addition to an open kitchen shelf.

In good vintage condition, with visible signs of age and previous use.
The interior has scratches and some light discolouration associated with use over time. There is also a tiny, superficial chip on the inside wall. The green floral decoration shows areas of paint loss and wear, as well as scratches, and there is a small dark scuff mark on the exterior near the upper rim.
Please examine all photos carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
📜 Glasbake was introduced in 1917 by the McKee Glass Company as a line of heat-resistant glass cookware, offering American households a practical alternative to other well-known ovenware brands.
In 1961, Jeannette Glass Company acquired the McKee operation, continuing the production of glass kitchenware. During the mid-20th century, colourful floral decorations became popular on milk-glass cookware, combining everyday practicality with cheerful designs suitable for bringing straight to the dinner table.
The Green Daisy design, also known among collectors as Primrose Dream, reflects this love for simple botanical motifs and fresh, nature-inspired colours. Today, these pieces are appreciated for their nostalgic character and their place in American kitchenware history.
